SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATED – CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE.
The Shocker® CVO and XLS utilize a uni-body design incorporating the regulator housing into the body of the marker. This minimizes the part count of the marker, allowing the Shocker® to achieve its iconic light weight and clean profile. Integrating the regulator housing into the marker also reduces the number of seals in the marker and eliminates potential leak points. Factory regulator cover is included standard on the Shocker® XLS and CVO models.
In development of the Shocker® platform SP challenged its engineers to squeeze even more performance from the Shocker® regulator design. The Shocker® CVO and XLS both feature the latest regulator piston – machined from aircraft grade aluminum and Type III hard anodized. This lightweight regulator piston uses the same seals that have been proven consistent and durable – but with lighter weight and higher flow. This regulator innovation provides a faster recharge rate, and greater consistency while at maximum rate of fire than previous generation Shockers®.
The regulator piston also has a retention ring – which allows the secondary spring to remain attached to the piston, offering easier disassembly for regulator service.
ICONIC BARREL – LEGENDARY ACCURACY.
Only two things are better known in tournament paintball than the Shocker – The Freak and All-American barrels. The Shocker® comes with the best of both. The ‘cocker threaded Freak® back combines with optional inserts to adjust bore size for optimum performance when weather and paint conditions change. Helical porting keeps the All-American front quiet while dispersing air to reduce turbulence for tack-driving accuracy.
Drawing from the latest barrel technology the Shocker® AMP and Shocker® CC both ship with paintball’s most popular interchangeable bore barrel the Freak® XL
The Freak® XL features an eight inch control bore that allows the air to remain behind the ball longer, allowing it to do more work accelerating the ball – with less air. This means that the new Shocker® AMP and CC can operate at lower operating pressure, and increase efficiency over previous Shocker® models.
Autococker threads have become the most common barrel thread in paintball. Because of this both Shocker® CC and AMP models use Autococker threads.
Because the Shocker® AMP and CC use the Freak XL barrel system, players now have the added advantage of quick turn autococker threads on the factory Freak XL barrel back – so removing your barrel takes 1/2 as many turns while remaining compatible with any autococker threaded marker.
AMP’D AND AGGRESSIVE – STURDY AND STABLE.
The Shocker® AMP is sculpted from aircraft-grade aluminum that pushes the boundaries of modern 5-axis milling equipment. Using top grade alloys and finishing techniques Shocker®s are artfully anodized to take the abuse associated with top-level paintball.
By integrating the body and regulator the Shocker® platform is stronger than multi-piece body designs and offers a more rigid shooting platform that polymer-based markers simply cannot match.
TIME TO GET AMP’D – ABOUT YOUR TRIGGER.
The Shocker® AMP features one of the best trigger systems ever invented, capable of adjustment to fit any player’s preferences, infinitely customizable and reliable. Mounted with a single screw and riding on sealed roller bearings the AMP trigger is smooth almost maintenance-free. Clean-up is a breeze with a single screw mounting the trigger, removing the trigger to clean out debris can be accomplished in just a few minutes with a single tool.
Guided by feedback from players of all genres the Shocker® AMP trigger is ideal for semi-auto, ramping, and burst modes allowing the player to maintain a steady rate of fire no matter your chosen firing mode. With a re-designed trigger profile and reshaped trigger guard, the AMP trigger has a more natural fit for many players and eliminates “hot-spots” and friction points, even when used with a shorter air-tank.
Starting with feedback from players and closely studying ergonomics of players use the Shocker® platform; our engineering team set out to develop the best Shocker® trigger system ever. We might be biased, but we think they nailed it…
By shortening the high of the trigger, the Shocker® AMP’s trigger is now more responsive, traveling through its swing in a quicker arc meaning semi-auto is easier to keep in rhythm and ramping is easier to sustain.
Examining player ergonomic choices pointed out improvements that could be made in the Shocker® trigger guard, and the AMP takes advantage of those changes. By increasing the overall volume of space inside the guard, but moving that space up towards the marker and out towards the regulator puts the space where players fingers need it, while not overwhelming the aesthetics of the frame.
Maintaining successful features from previous generations means we also built on previous successes. Adjustment screws now using a 1/16th hex key – offering better tool engagement, easier application of torque and longer hardware life. The AMP features a single screw mount system that takes the guess work out of centering the trigger – a wiggle free perfectly centered trigger is accomplished a single mount screw. Trigger removal is accomplished with the same 1/16th hex key used for trigger adjustment.
AMP’D UP PERFORMANCE – MORE SHOTS, LESS PRESSURE.
The Shocker® AMP core is all new and redesigned with fantastic efficiency, unparalleled reliability, and the lowest operating pressure ever offered in a Shocker® marker.
All bolt components are hard anodized from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and precision fit with urethane dynamic o-rings. A simple twist lock latching system makes removal and maintenance a trouble-free and tool-free experience.
110 psi
The Shocker® AMP core utilizes a devorced valve bolt system that separates the part of the bolt system that moves the paintball in the chamber, and the part of the bolt system that fires the air propelling the ball down the barrel. By separating these internal functions we are able to achieve increased effciency at lower pressures. Meaning more shots per air tank fill, and less broken paintballs per case.
This separated system also reduces the number of seals in the marker that are exposed to debris and enviromental contaminates, stretching o-ring life to a million cycles (in standard use scenarios). With basic regular maintence your Shocker® will not only be more reliable than other markers, but have lower ownership costs over the life of the marker.
Unqiue to the AMP core is the integrated quick exhaust valve integrated into the base of the Shocker® core. This system allows the bolt to vent remaining air directly at the bolt kit rather than forcing air back through the marker and solenoid. This means that the Shocker® AMP can cycle upwards of 22bps without measurable drop off. This is critical for players using un-capped semi-auto or mechanical where your ROF may rapidly change during a string of shots.
